Today we have a newly voted in Pope, this comes after the passing of Pope Francis.
The conclave only lasted 2 days, similar to what we saw with the voting of the late Pope Francis. Making it one of the fastest Pope votes to ever take place.
For a new Pope to be elected 2/3 of the eligible Cardinals to vote had to agree on the same person. This can be hard at times due to the different backgrounds and personal beliefs of the Cardinals. The longest vote took nearly 3 years to finalize. But Christians and the world can stop waiting for a new Pope has been elected.
If black smoke comes from the Conclave that means that the Cardinals have not elected a Pope but we saw the clear smoke toady marking the end of the Conclave and the beginning of the new Pope.
